DAVID
MARKS - In 1962, David Marks, along with the three
Wilson brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl, and their cousin Mike Love, signed
a record contract with Capitol Records. With those five signatures, an
American institution was created. The Beach Boys, with their clean cut
faces and tender harmonies, quickly found themselves in the spot light,
fighting off teenage girls and traveling around the world. But after playing
on their first five albums, Marks, just 16 at the time, quit the Beach
Boys. Since leaving the Beach Boys, Marks has worked on several projects.
His own band, Dave & The Marksmen, received moderate success in the
local California markets during the mid 1960s. His next band, The Moon,
received tremendous critical acclaim on both their albums and are still
cult favorites among many music collectors. After The Moon, David left
the stage and entered the classroom. He studied classical composition at
the Boston Conservatory and the Berklee School of Music. After returning
to California in the early 1970s, David worked as a studio musician, as
well as with artists such as Delbert McClinton, Leon Russell, and Gary
Busey. During the 1980s Marks spent most of his time raising his daughter,
Jennifer, and playing in blues bands with his long-time musical partner,
Buzz Clifford, and early 1960s teen idol.
In August of
1997, David returned to the band he helped create. Carl Wilson was suffering
from cancer and unable to continue touring. Of course Marks was the obvious
choice to replace him on the road. David spent 2 years as one of Mike Love's
Beach Boys, traveling the globe and playing Brian Wilson's music for millions
of fans in 14 countries spanning four continents. In addition to playing
live, David also appeared on an episode of the television hit, Baywatch.
He can also be seen on the television documentary Endless Harmony. He has
also been a feature story on Inside Addition and Entertainemnt Tonight.
Mr. Marks was also portrayed in the ABC mini-series, The Beach Boys: An
American Family, produced by John Stamos. David currently resides in upstate
New York.

BILLY
HINSCHE is a founding member of the pop musical
group, Dino, Desi & Billy, who achieved instant international teen
star status when their debut single, "I'm A Fool," exploded onto the Billboard
music charts in the summer of 1965. They were the youngest band ever to
have commercial success, opening the door for other teen groups, which
quickly followed their lead. The trio performed on every music-oriented
television show of that era including The Hollywood Palace, Shindig, Hullabaloo,
Shivaree, a Sammy Davis, Jr., Thanksgiving Special, and the legendary Ed
Sullivan Show. DD&B also make a cameo appearance in a Dean Martin movie
called "Murderer's Row," and their production company recorded and produced
four songs for him. Billy wrote two of the songs which Dean recorded --
"For the Love of a Woman" and "Come on Down." He co-wrote "Lady Love" with
Brian Wilson, "Away" with Dennis Wilson, and wrote "Tell Someone You Love
Them," the group's last big hit in 1968. Headlining their own shows, they
toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada and were the
opening act for the Beach Boys, Paul Revere & The Raiders,
and Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. The Beach Boys took a particular
interest in the group and their guitarist, Carl Wilson, eventually married
Billy's sister, Annie. DD&B recorded four albums for Frank Sinatra's
Reprise Records, and then disbanded in 1970 to pursue other interests.
In 1974, Billy
earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Motion Pictures and Television
from UCLA, and has one of the most extensive collections of rare, archival
footage of the Beach Boys, both on film and video. He then joined the Beach
Boys as a recording and touring band member, playing a variety of instruments
including piano, guitar, and bass. He has played and sang on many of the
group's albums and has performed with them in every major venue including
Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden. He has played to audiences around
the world including concerts for Presidents Ford, Reagan, and Bush. In
1980, he joined the Carl Wilson band on WIlson's solo venture; both he
and Carl rejoined the Beach Boys in 1982.
Billy left
the Beach Boys in 1995 and renewed his interest in film and video. He began
a successful career in making instructional videos such as "Play Songs
of the Beach Boys" for piano players, and "Know the Road," a humorous yet
educational rock 'n' roll travel tips tutorial. Currently, in addition
to playing with Beach Party!, he also sits on the Board of Directors for
The Carl Wilson Foundation. Hinsche currently resides in Southern California.

working on solo endeavors, part of which has been produced by former Beach
Boys band mate Richie Cannata of The Billy Joel Band. He is touring with
various bands in addition to Beach Party!; most notably Alan Jardine's
Family & Friends Beach Band featuring Carnie & Wendy Wilson (of
Wilson-Phillips fame). When not on the road or in the studio, Matt resides
in Arizona and California.
